Tracing its roots to the earliest days of the Christian religion in Palestine, the Catholic church is present in all countries of the world. With a system of authority centered in the Pope in Rome as spiritual leader, the Catholic church conveys God's grace through the sacraments, especially Communion. The gospel of Jesus and the teachings of the Bible are interpreted by the Church.
