The Baha'i Faith was founded by Baha'u'llah in 19th
century Persia. Baha'is believe in the oneness of humanity, harmony of
religions, and that Baha'u'llah is the fulfillment of the end-time promises
of earlier scriptures. Baha'i Faith teaches that humanity is undergoing an
evolutionary process, and the need of the presesnt time is for the gradual
establishment of peace, justice and unity on a global scale. Worship is primarily an individual decision
and involves three obligatory prayers. Fellowship occasions take place in
homes. A nineteen
month calendar has a feast day on the first day of each month when
Bahá'is gather to worship, discuss community business and socialize.
